MAHIR HAMID

Mahir is a fourth-year Commerce student at Queen’s. During his time in the Commerce program, he has been an active leader in the student government and entrepreneurship community. Mahir founded Queen’s Startup Consulting (QSC), a startup agency, and co-chaired Queen’s Technology & Media Association (QTMA), a product incubator. Aside from his campus involvements, Mahir is also a Cansbridge fellow, where he received $10k to pursue an internship in Asia, and he dedicates his time to teaching young people about the value of pushing boundaries and stepping outside their comfort zones. This marks Mahir’s 4th year on ComSoc, and he is honored to serve the team as President. His hope is to build a genuine ComSoc "family" while helping underserved students in the Commerce program.

 
 

ETHAN WILLIAMS

Ethan is a fourth-year student at the Smith School of Business from Toronto, Ontario. During his time in the commerce program, he has been an active leader in several clubs and teams during his time, including co-chair of the EDGE chapter of Queen’s (Education, Diversity, Growth, & Empowerment), Head of People & Culture for Smith Black Business Association (SBBA), Special Events Director for Queen’s Self Evaluation Learning Forum (QSELF), and a defensemen on the Napanee Raiders Junior C hockey organization. Ethan has joined the Commerce Society during second-semester of third year, and is committed and thrilled to leverage his past experiences during his term to help drive meaningful change within the Commerce community.

 
 

CHARLOTTE ALFRED

Charlotte is a fourth-year student at the Smith School of Business from Etobicoke, Ontario. Throughout her time in the commerce program, Charlotte has been involved in several organizations, including her role as an editor for the Queen’s Business Review, on the Smith Commerce High School Liason, as well as holding numerous positions on the Smith Commerce Society. Charlotte is also a member of the Queen’s Competitive Dance Team. This is her 3rd year on ComSoc and she is committed to organizational excellence pertaining to all operational matters within the Commerce community.
